Warranty

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.

NOTE: Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the below limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country.

 

 

Limited Warranty

This Limited Warranty only covers the product name under the brand name "CuboAi" and sold by Yun Yun AI Baby Camera Co., Ltd. or Yunyun US Corp. or 雲云テクノロジー株式會社 (“we”, “Yun Yun”), including the electronic products and accessories are manufactured by Yun Yun AI Baby Camera Co., Ltd.

  • Electronic products: 45-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for return and refund from the date of delivery, and a 1-Year Limited Warranty for any manufactured product or device or components of such a product or device powered by its electronic circuit or battery to operate.
  • Accessories: customers purchases separately from Cuboai's official website or the authorized channels. The accessories are covered by 45-Day Satisfaction Guarantee for return and refund from the date of delivery.  
  • Other consumable products are not covered under the Warranty policies.

Note:

We do not accept returns on our medical devices to protect our customers’ health and safety. For return eligibility, products must be unused, sealed, and, if applicable, with the outer plastic film intact.

Our warranty policy gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state and country to country. For example, in compliance with EU law, CuboAi electronic device(s) with a 2-Year Warranty for EU customers.

Starting from August 1, 2022 for purchases made in the United States, Australia and Canada, and March 31, 2023 for purchases made in the United Kingdom, Germany and France - all software/firmware updates, technical support and paid maintenance services outside of the warranty period will no longer be provided for the CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor (Gen 1). 

Additionally, due to the cessation in the production of CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor (Gen 1) related products, all CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor (Gen 1) accessories will no longer be available for purchase after these dates.

 

 

Entitled Selling Channels 

Yun Yun’s limited warranty ONLY applies to the products purchasing from CuboAi's official stores or authorized platforms (including franchising partners’ online channels or retail stores).Yun Yun may restrict warranty service, including the scope or length,for the repair/replacement of hardware products to the country where authorized sellers originally sold the device via the aforementioned channels. 

Products purchased from unauthorized resellers on Amazon or other channels are NOT subject to either customer service or warranty services. Proof of purchase entitled to the channels mentioned above (or trackable order ID) is required for warranty service.

 

 

Warranty Scope

Yun Yun warrants that your CuboAi will be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use for the limited warranty period mentioned above  from the original date of delivery. Yun Yun will, at its option, repair or replace the CuboAi electronic products or the attached accessories without charge upon its receipt of proof of the date of purchase or date of delivery.

If a hardware defect arises and a valid claim is received within the Warranty Period, at its option, Yun Yun will either:

repair the hardware defect at no charge, using new or refurbished replacement parts, or

replace the product, at Yun Yun’s available option, with a reconditioned/refurbished product or with a product that is new or that has been manufactured from new or serviceable used parts and is at least functionally equivalent to the original product.

If a replacement for the electronic products CuboAi is sent, it will carry a non-transferable warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period.

Yun Yun will cover the shipping cost for replacement in the country where authorized sellers originally sold the device within the limited warranty scope. Yun Yun will provide the nearest return center address near or within the region if the return and repair service for defective products or parts is required.

If you purchase in a country covered by our warranty, Yun Yun will provide you with a global warranty service. For example, you purchased in Country “A” and then moved to Country “B”. As long as Country “A” and Country “B” are covered by our warranty service, we will provide warranty service in Country “B”. If Country “B” is not within our warranty area, please provide an address that is covered by the warranty to proceed with the warranty service. Otherwise, Yun Yun is unable to offer warranty service. (If you are located in another country covered by Yun Yun warranty, please refer to the country’s warranty page. The completion time of warranty service and parts availability may vary according to country.)

 

 

Repair and Replacement

Yun Yun may replace defective parts with new or refurbished user-installable parts (e.g.wall plugs, camera stand) that Yun Yun provides in fulfillment of its warranty obligation. A replacement product as a whole, including a user-installable part that instructions provided by Yun Yun has installed , the warranty coverage period will be the remained days or 90 days whichever provides shorter from the date of replacement or repair. When a product or part is exchanged, any replacement item becomes your property, and the replaced item becomes Yun Yun’s property.

Parts provided by Yun Yun in fulfillment of its warranty obligation must be used for products in which the warranty service is claimed. When a refund is given, the product for which the refund is provided must be returned to Yun Yun and becomes Yun Yun’s property.

 

 

Exclusions and Limitations

This Limited Warranty applies only to hardware products manufactured by or for Yun Yun and sell through CuboAi official stores or authorized platforms (including franchising partners’ online channels or retail stores). 

Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than CuboAi, may provide their warranties to the end-user, but CuboAi provides their products ""as is."" Software distributed by Yun Yun with or without the CuboAi brand name (including, but not limited to system software) is not covered under this Limited Warranty. Yun Yun does not warrant that the operation of the product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Yun Yun is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the product's use.

This warranty does not apply:

(a) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, or other external causes;

(b) to damage caused by operating the product outside the permitted or intended uses described by CuboAi;

(c) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Yun Yun;

(d) to a product or part that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Yun Yun;

(e) to consumable and mechanical platform parts unless damage has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship;

(f) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and dents;

There are no express warranties other than those listed and described above, and no warranties whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties against hidden or latent defects, shall apply the express warranty period stated above, and no other express warranty or guarantee given by any person, firm, or corporation with respect to this product shall be binding upon CuboAi.

Except as provided in this warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Yun Yun is not responsible for loss or revenue or profits, failure to realize savings or other benefits, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill, damage to, compromise or corruption of data, or any other special, incidental or consequential damages caused by the use, misuse or inability to use this product, or any other breach of any warranty or condition regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, even if CuboAi has been advised of the possibility of such damage. Nor shall recovery of any kind against Yun Yun be greater than the purchase price of the Product. Without limiting the preceding, the purchaser assumes all risk and liability for loss, damage or injury to the purchaser and the purchaser’s property and others and their property arising out of the use, misuse, or inability to use the products sold by Yun Yun not caused directly by the negligence of Yun Yun.

This limited warranty shall not extend to anyone other than the original purchaser of this product, is non-transferable, and states the exclusive right of the purchaser to remedy.

 

 

Obtaining Warranty Service

CuboAi is a high-quality product and, with proper care, is intended to provide years of satisfying performance. Please do not return your CuboAi for servicing without first speaking to CuboAi Customer Support to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the Product, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging providing an equal degree of protection, to an address specified by Yun Yun. Yun Yun may require that you furnish proof of purchase from the official and authorized sellers and additional details before receiving warranty service.

It is your responsibility to backup any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on the Product. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service, and CuboAi will not be responsible for any such damage or loss. Return Shipping and Handling within the Limited Warranty Coverage

CuboAi products or accessories can be purchased from the official stores, the listed authorized online platforms or franchising online channels or retailer stores and can be delivered to different countries with or without shipping cost on your end depending on the geographical location of the delivery address. For Yun Yun to provide you the warranty coverage for CuboAi, Yun Yun will ask you to return the defective product for assessment should it need to be repaired or replaced.

Yun Yun will cover the shipping cost for repair/replacement authorized under the  limited warranty scope within the country where authorized sellers originally sold the device. Yun Yun will provide the nearest return center address near or within the region.

If you purchase in a country covered by our warranty, Yun Yun will provide you with a global warranty service. For example, you purchased in Country “A” and then moved to Country “B”. As long as Country “A” and Country “B” are covered by our warranty service, we will provide warranty service in country “B”. If Country “B” is not within our warranty area, please provide an address that is covered by the warranty to proceed with the warranty service. Otherwise, Yun Yun is unable to offer warranty service.
